THE CENTRE IS AVAILABLE TO TANZANIAN AND FOREIGN RESEARCHERS, SCIENTISTS, STUDENTS AND VOLUNTEERS

The KRC, where one can be hosted at reasonable costs, is available to researchers, students, professionals from different sectors and eco volunteers to come and do research, identify development opportunities and work on the implementation of the various projects proposed by the KRC in the following areas: 

– Conservation and protection of elephants and wildlife.

– Mitigation of conflicts between humans and wild animals.

– Habitat restoration.

– Community sustainable development and education.

The KRC is open to any partnership with government project managers, NGOs, companies, individuals, schools, health practitioners, veterinarians…

 

Eco-volunteering

KRC’s eco-volunteering programme aims to train volunteers who wish to actively engage in various social works within the community and schools. 

  • Environmental conservation education.
  • Health education; help in our nearest health facilities.
  • Training and seminars
  • Participation in wildlife data collection.

Our team of experts will guide and assist you in your field work.

The KRC is responsible for obtaining the necessary permits to undertake research and volunteer work or to obtain a visa for foreign scientists and volunteers. They will also arrange your visit to the center.
