Gerubin Liberath Msaki

Dr Gerubin Liberath Msaki (PhD), born and raised in Enduimet (Longido District), is currently a Lecturer of Environmental Sciences and Biodiversity Conservation at Mwalimu Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MNUAT). He Holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, Arusha (NM-AIST), Master of Science in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics and a Bachelor a Degree in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). He has extensive knowledge of wildlife management, environmental and natural resources management, project planning and management and community development. Dr. Gerubin desires to see marginalized communities attain better living standards by sustainably utilizing the available natural resources and to enhance change in community attitudes and perceptions towards natural resources and environmental conservation for sustainable livelihood development.

She has an extensive knowledge on management of community-initiated project and entrepreneurial capacity as she has been working on own businesses for quite sometimes. He has a bachelor’s degree in Community Development with a major in Management of Community Development Programs from the Community Development Training Institute (CDTI) in Tengeru, Tanzania. Julius born and Raised in Lerang’wa Village. He poses a Diploma in Travel and Tourism from National Collage of Tourism. He has an extensive knowledge and skills in organizing trips and tour to different areas of Tanzania. He wishes to see the Masai community elevated out of poverty by supporting sustainable use of natural resources.
